A Touchless Visitor Experience
Entrance and exit doors (including washrooms) propped open
Limit access to worship areas, restrooms, and designated sick room
Stationary offering, giving online or by mail is encouraged
Promote nonphysical greetings
Touchless communion (e.g. prepackaged elements opened by individuals)
If food or beverages are served COVID, guidelines will be observed
A Constant Sanitizing Process
Masks should be worn in the building unless it would be unwise for a person to wear one.
Hand sanitizing stations at entrances
Water fountains will not be available for use
Between church services, sanitize bathrooms, anything that would change hands, and high-touch surfaces
Minimize Possible Transmission
People should conduct a self-check and stay home if they have symptoms of
COVID-19: fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, headache, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, or diarrheaPeople should also stay home if they have a household member experiencing symptoms compatible with COVID-19
Persons at higher risk for severe illness are strongly encouraged to stay home
Designated sick room for anyone who becomes sick during the service – Kitchen
Continue to provide virtual worship service for vulnerable community members
Socially Distant Seating Strategies
Occupancy must not exceed 50% of total room capacity or 250 for an outdoor service
Increasing the overall number of church services if needed
Household members can sit together and should maintain at least 6 feet from people not in the same household - including people next to, in front of, and behind
All church family members will remain 10 feet away from the platform
Encourage social distancing on arrival and departure
Provide clear signage to ensure social distancing and open areas
Employee and Volunteer Requirements
Training on guidelines and restrictions for our facility
Wash and/or sanitize hands regularly
Social distancing – stay at least 6 feet apart
Masks should be worn in the building except for when serving on the platform or if it would be unwise for a person to do so.
Stay home if they or someone in their household has symptoms of COVID-19
